Ability Beginners
Skills required This is a beginners’ project and you should know how to work in basic stocking stitch on either circular or straight needles and be able to make simple button holes.
Materials required You will need:
• one 8mm (US 11) 40cm (15¾in) circular or pair of straight needles
• two 8mm (US 11) double pointed needles
• a tapestry needle for sewing
• a stitch marker.
Tension 8.5 sts x 13 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in st st using 8mm (US 11) needles.
