Skills required • You will need to be able to work a classic cable and double moss st pattern. You will also need to decrease and work a 1x1 rib.
Materials required You will need:
• one pair each of 2¾mm (US2) and 3¾mm (US5) straight needles
• 2¾mm (US2) circular needle
• a cable needle
• a tapestry needle for sewing up
• row counters and stitch markers.
Tension •26 sts x 27 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) worked in cable and moss st pattern using 3¾mm (US 5) needles.
• equivalent in st st 22 sts x 27 rows using 3¾mm (US 5) needles.
